Mike McMinn

SENIOR PASTOR

Pastor Mike has served in vocational ministry for over 16 years. He came to serve as senior pastor of First Baptist in February 2025. He and his wife Martha have two grown children, and one son-in-law.

Dr. Paul Pinson

Pastor of Music, Senior Adults, & Education

Pastor Paul has served First Baptist Iva for over 30 years. In that time, he has impacted our church and our community with the gospel of Jesus in ways that cannot be measured. Paul earned his Master of Divinity and Doctorate at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Paul & his wife, Mia have been married for over 35 years, and they have two sons and 4 grandchildren.

Robert Schnarr

PASTOR OF STUDENTS

Pastor Robert joined our staff in April of 2026. He is a retired veteran with decades of faithful service to our country. He earned a Master of Divinity from Liberty University and a Bachelor in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute. He is also a certified Teacher and Trainer in Evangelism Explosion’s Share Your Faith workshop for adults and youth through Evangelism Explosion International. He and his wife, Babette, have a daughter, Abigail, and two fur babies.

Emily Beggs

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Emily joined the fellowship of First Baptist in the summer of 2022 with a heart for ministry. She began serving on staff in January of 2026.
